My inspiration/source material for my Orb & Key Item description


What I have been visioning in my head for the past couple of days is a very important Orb that the player will receive within the first quarter of a game. The game I have in mind is a turned base RPG. I want the Orb to represent great importance to the player. The look of this Orb will be both destructive and peaceful , as if it's unclear of what it's true purpose really is.  Perhaps the player will find out at the very end of the game when the story reaches the climax.
